Challenge
Take up a technical and technological challenge due to the geographical location of the city of Cuenca , sitting at an altitude of 2,600 m in the middle of the Andes and its classification as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site.
Our solution
CIM, in partnership with TSO, will supply and install the 21 km of track as well as the equipment for the depot and maintenance workshops as part of the ACTN Tranvía Cuenca consortium made up of the French companies ALSTOM, CIM, TSO and NGE Contracting.
Devise and implement all the safety and quality measures to ensure the proper execution of the works in the historic centre; a delicate task in this UNESCO World Heritage area.
